Quadrilateral Sort by Ramus and art Tangram to Preschooler

This paper attempts didactic approach to classification four-sided geometric shapes, according to the model Ramus and use of Tangram art in early childhood education. Originally referred to the history of the classification of quadrilateral shapes. Then described the art Tangram, elements from the tradition of art and its use for understanding of geometrical concepts. Finally seeks a teaching proposal regarding the Ramus model incorporating new technologies and in particular the use of free software Pencil. The paper concludes by presenting some of the elements that emerged during the implementation of the teaching model in pre-school education and are under discussion or further investigation.
